Diesel engine on GMC 350
Objective
To improve filtration by the removal of ferrous particles out of the oil system of a diesel engine with a magnetic
filtration system (Halex Coil). An oil sample was taken at end of
an oil cycle. In this case, oil is changed at 3604 km. After the
initial sample was taken, the Halex Coil was installed. At 4817 km, a
second oil sample was taken.
